The camp is in financial need. It cost approximately $1,000 day to run the camp whether people are here or not. If you or a group would like to sponsor a day of camp or make a financial or tangible gift, please contact the camp at (402) 757-3241.

 

What would your house need?

If your house and yard had several thousand teenagers, adults and youth moving in and out, having the time of their lives this summer, what would your needs list look like. Well ours is probably pretty much the same.

Fact # 1: Well over 37,000 meals will have be served by the end of 2005.

Need: -Sets of forks and spoons -set of 50 is approx: $40

           -New mops-approximately: $15 each

           -Glasses to replace broken ones-approx:$25 per dozen

           -Barbeque grill (commercial size)-Dan has his eye on one for $1325

           -Hot Pads, cooking utensils, many worn out items-many in the $10 range

Fact # 2: The maintenance Dept. has over 50 acres to maintain.

Need: -Commercial weed-eaters-approx #300 ea.

           -New chain saw (we lost over 100 trees by wind storms last year)

             approx: $300

           -New garbage cans-approx:$35 ea.

           -Step Ladders, power miter saw, skid loader $100-$5,000

           -Screwdriver sets, hammers, tools of any kind (they just seem to 

            disappear) $10-$50

Fact #3: Each year the campers use over 158,000 linear feet of toilet paper, 221,000 paper towels, 340,900 gallons of water, 181,500 kilowatts of electricity, 72,349 marshmallows, $68,050 worth of groceries and lots of wear and tear on the facility.

Need: Your unending, ever faithful, never waivering, generous, continual, God inspired financial support!

Fact #4: Did you know that if each household in the camps constituency would send just $10 per month, it would not only meet the camps annual income shortfall but would exceed it by $600,000.
